Aquatic Therapy
Synovation’s state-of-the-art facilities include a pool for aquatic therapy. Aquatic therapy is an exercise program, related to physical therapy, performed in water. Many Synovation patients have improved their range of motion with aquatic therapy.
Exercising in an aquatic environment can provide several benefits. When the body is immersed in water, a certain level of buoyancy is achieved, which provides additional support and comfort. In addition, it relieves physical stress on the joints, increases flexibility, and provides resistance for strengthening purposes.
